“State of the Student Vote” research conference
April 27, 2022
The 2022 State of the Student Vote Workshop: At this event, practitioners and scholars summarized field-wide progress towards 100% student voter participation and prioritized specific field-wide investments for the 2022 election cycle.
The workshop built on findings from a similar 2018 workshop hosted at MIT by Edie Goldenberg, assess progress made in the last four year, and solicit new research from participating scholars.
Presentations were made by students from the Campus Vote Project Research Collective, from practitioners, and from five pairs of scholars. At the workshop, speed presentations from each group then led into themed breakout sessions to build networks and catalyze new research projects for the ‘22 - ‘23 academic year.
